Family Being Interviewed in Woman's 1982 Disappearance: Miami-Dade Police

After digging up a yard in northwest Miami-Dade related to the disappearance of a woman in 1982, police are now interviewing the woman's family.

Miami-Dade Police officials said Thursday that they're speaking with family members of Behdokht Pyke as they investigate the cold case.

Pyke was 29 years old when she went missing in January 1981. She would now be 64 years old.

Police said they received tips on the cold case that led them to the home in the area of Northwest 195th Drive and 54th Place in the Lakes of Acadia neighborhood.

Crews excavated the backyard but authorities haven't said if anything was found.
