Lakisha Lampiley was killed in a car after leaving Club Romance between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. Sunday, Miami Police said.

"Oh my God. How can you just take somebody's life away and think it ain't nothing and it is?" she said at the Miami Police Department. "What goes around comes around."

Lakisha Lampiley, her sister, cousin, and three male friends had gone to a hip-hop event at the club at NW 36 Street and NW 34th Avenue. Princess Lampiley said her sister was in a hurry to leave the club.

Right before shots were fired at the car "she was saying 'Ya'll seen how they was looking at us?' Princess Lampiley recalled.

She said she saw blood on her pants and at first thought it was her own. But it was her sister's. Princess Lampiley was sitting on her lap in the backseat of the car.

“She’s just like ‘I'm hit, I'm hit,’ and after that that was it, those were her last words," Princess Lampiley said.

They drove Lakisha Lampiley to North Shore Medical Center, where she died from multiple gunshot wounds.

“My detectives are out there right now checking the area, looking for any type of surveillance video that may assist us in the investigation,” Homicide Det. Confesor Gonzalez said.
