A fatal shooting led to a police standoff in the Little Haiti neighborhood in Miami late Friday.
The shooting happened around 4:15 p.m. on Northeast Miami Court, police said. The victim of the shooting later died from his injuries.
After the shooting, a witness said they saw a suspect run into a nearby home. A SWAT team and police negotiator responded to the scene and the standoff lasted into the early morning hours of Saturday.
The suspect, a woman, was later taken into custody and was being questioned.
No other information was known.
