Crews responded after a truck was involved in a fiery rollover crash on the Florida's Turnpike in southwest Miami-Dade Wednesday.
The crash happened in the northbound lanes of the Turnpike at Southwest 211th Street in Cutler Bay. Florida Highway Patrol officials say a truck carrying a load of rocks lost control and flipped over before bursting into flames.
The driver was transported to an area hospital where his condition was unknown.
All northbound lanes were blocked as a result of the crash, with FHP saying they could remain closed for several hours.
