Travelers at Miami International Airports who are planning on boarding a flight to Istanbul, Turkey will be able to after a terror attack killed a reported 41 people Tuesday.

Because of the time difference, no flights are set to touch down this morning but the ground stop has been lifted by the FAA allowing for flights to take off and depart, with officials anticipating all flights making it to Istanbul whether directly from Miami or with stops in other cities.

Those at MIA worried about their flights last night after they heard the shocking news of what happened, while others traveling both to and from Istanbul were nervous about what to expect.

Some Turkish natives leaving Miami still said they were hoping for the best

“I’m really worried and I don't know what this is happening,” traveler Ceylan Duru Can said. “I don't know when this is all going to end. I just hope it will end very soon.”

Even with the flights still taking place, there may be some delays with flights headed from Miami to Istanbul, so be prepared for changes and arrive early.
