Florida Gov. Rick Scott is beginning a two-week, 28-city campaign bus tour to promote proposed tax cuts as part of his re-election campaign.
The tour begins Monday. Scott announced the tax cut proposals last week.
It includes the eventual elimination of the corporate income tax, getting rid of taxes paid on commercial rent, an expansion of the state's sales tax holidays, a reduction of cellphone taxes and a proposed ballot measure that would keep property taxes from rising if home values stay the same or drop.
Any of the proposals would need legislative approval.
Scott is facing former Republican Charlie Crist, who is seeking his old job as a Democrat.
