Beginning in 2014, Florida minimum wage workers can expect an increase in their paychecks.
Florida's minimum wage will soon rise to $7.93 per hour, a 14-cent increase over the current rate of $7.79 per hour.
Tipped workers will also be getting a 14-cent increase in their minimum wage. Their rate is increasing from $4.77 per hour to $4.91 per hour.
The changes take effect on Jan. 1.
