Florida Teen Charged With Killing Sister's Boyfriend

The 17-year-old allegedly used a handgun to shoot the 32-year-old man.

A 17-year-old boy has been charged with first degree murder after Pasco County authorities say he shot and killed his sister's boyfriend.

A sheriff's office statement says the boy used a handgun to shoot 32-year-old Juan Quesada-Acuna while he was sitting in a car with the suspect's sister.

Florida High School Student Expelled After Shooting Hoax

The teen was booked Saturday into the Land O'Lakes Detention Center. It's not immediately known if he has an attorney.

Authorities have not released any further details.

The teen is not being identified by The Associated Press because of his age.
