Florida Woman Charged in Husband's Murder

Investigators say detectives found a revolver inside the woman's car.

A Florida woman has been charged with first-degree murder in her husband's shooting death.

Forty-six-year-old Rebecca Fenton was arrested Friday at the Capri Mobile Home Park in Clearwater after being indicted by a grand jury.

Larry Fenton was found dead from multiple gunshot wounds in his house in February 2008.

His wife told detectives she had been exercising in a detached garage at the time of the shooting. Rebecca Fenton told police she heard what sounded like something falling off the roof but didn't check on her husband until later.

Investigators say detectives found a revolver Larry Fenton had purchased inside his wife's car.

Rebecca Fenton was booked into the Pinellas County Jail and being held without bond.
