A former Broward substitute teacher has been arrested on the charge of engaging in sex acts with a 17-year-old girl, authorities say.
Daniel Ojst, 29, of Boynton Beach, was taken into custody Monday on one count of sexual assault on a 17-year-old victim, according to an arrest report from the Broward Sheriff’s Office. Ojst was freed from jail early Thursday on $5,000 bond, jail records show.

Ojst in September began a personal relationship with the girl, and it developed over several weeks, the arrest report said. The sexual encounter happened in Ojst’s vehicle on Oct. 6, the report said. The city in which the incident occurred was blacked out of the report.
