Remember when cornerback Eugene Robinson was arrested trying to pick up a hooker the night before the Super Bowl in Miami?
Former Dolphins cornerback Eric Green wishes he had those kinds of problems.
Just in time for the Super Bowl, there's a story of a cornerback getting caught in a bad predicament with a woman. Only this time the woman wasn't born a woman.
Green, who played for the Dolphins for about 14 minutes, is being sued in federal court by a transgender named Angelina Mavilia for an alleged encounter in 2009 while Green played with the Arizona Cardinals, reports the New York Daily News.
The lawsuit claims Green forcibly sodomized Mavilia and then took her back to his condo where she was sexually assaulted again.
Afterward, Green warned, "This never happened. You'd better not tell."
Malivia's claims are civil, not criminal, and she wants $10 million from the former NFL star.
Green, who is from Pahokee, has not commented on the allegations. He was signed to a two-year deal as a free agent last offseason, but was cut before he could get name plate on a locker.
He eventually signed with San Francisco.
