Fort Lauderdale police have found the 88-year-old man who vanished Sunday afternoon.

George Richard Dennis, who according to his family may have dementia, had last been seen about 12:15 p.m. in the 2200 block of Northwest Sixth Place in Fort Lauderdale, according to police Lt. Frank Sousa.

About 7:15 p.m., Sousa announced: "Mr. Dennis was found safe and in good condition at his home in Miami."
