Police have intensified their search for a missing real estate agent and said Tuesday they suspect foul play in the Pembroke Pines woman's disappearance.

Natalie Belmonte, 43, was last seen Sunday around 2:30 a.m. after returning to her home in the 19300 block of Northwest 5th Street after attending a social gathering, police said.

Police said the case has gone from a missing person's case to a possible homicide. They are also looking for a red or maroon Lexus ES model. Police say it was seen in the neighborhood where Belmonte lives between 5:16 a.m. and 6:45 a.m. Sunday morning.

Authorities also asking businesses along Sheridan Street between 196th and 194th aves.to contact them if they have surveillance camera's that may have captured this vehicle.

Police also continued to search Pembroke Pines, focusing their search on an area on Pines Boulevard west of I-75, using dogs and boats in the search.

Pembroke Pines Police Captain Dan Rakofsky said detectives were still interviewing relatives, including her nephew, who returned home with her and reported her missing.

Rakofsky refused to elaborate on the contents of a dumpster that were found Monday, saying only that they were related to the case.

"The articles located in the dumpster point to foul play," Rakofsky said, during a Tuesday news conference.

A veterinarian who works at the location near Sheridan Street and 194th Street where the dumpster is said he saw police take away four plastic trash bags and an unidentifiable item that had blood on it. Police haven't confirmed whether blood was found at the dumpster.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Broward CrimeStoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
