Game Stop Thieves Cut Hole Into Store: Miami Police

Miami Police are looking for suspects who cut a hole through a video game store to steal thousands of dollars worth of equipment early Friday.

The robbery happened around 4:30 a.m. at the Game Stop at 2968 Southwest 8th Street, Miami Police spokeswoman Kenia Fallat said.

According to Fallat, the suspects set off the burglar alarm and officers quickly responded but it was too late.

The officers found a hole in the rear of the store and $4,000 worth of equipment was gone, Fallat said.

Police are searching for the suspects and are asking anyone with information to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
