Police are investigating after a gunman opens fire on a man and woman who were sitting in a car in Miami Thursday night.
The shooting happened just after 8 p.m. in the area of 67th St. and 2nd Place as the couple sat in a car at an apartment complex parking lot.
Authorities say a man walked up to the car and began firing. The man who was sitting in the passenger seat was shot at least twice and was rushed to Ryder Trauma Center in serious condition.
The woman, who was sitting in the driver's seat, was not injured. The gunman fled the scene on foot.
