Gunshots Fired at West Palm Beach Fire Truck

A West Palm Beach fire truck was struck by gunfire at a grocery store Saturday morning, NBC affiliate WPTV reports.

Fire officials said two firefighters and a captain conducted a "pre-fire plan" at the Publix on Southern Boulevard in West Palm Beach around 8:50 a.m.

They said someone in a gray Suburban SUV shot at the parked truck and struck the passenger side. The captain was inside the truck at the time, but was not injured.

Police are now investigating possible leads.
