HB Shea, 90, Pulled Gun on Postal Service Employee in Palm Beach County: Deputies

A 90-year-old man is accused of threatening a U.S. Postal Service employee when he wasn't satisfied with the service received at a post office near Boca Raton.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says the man pointed a handgun at the employee Monday and threatened to "blow his head off."

Responding deputies took HB Shea into custody outside the post office. An incident report says deputies recovered the firearm and placed it into evidence.

Shea was taken to West Boca Medical Center for evaluation. He was released and booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on the state charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. It was unknown if he has an attorney.

Federal postal police are expected to file charges of bringing a gun into a post office.
