H&M opened yet another South Florida location, this time at Pembroke Lakes Mall. NBC 6's Jennifer Gray spoke with some customers who waited hours in line just to get in.
At least 600 to 700 people lined up for the opening of the latest H&M location in South Florida, this time at Pembroke Lakes Mall.
The line started as early as 4 a.m. Thursday at the Pembroke Pines store for the 12 p.m. ribbon cutting at 11401 Pines Blvd.
"This is one of my favorite stores," customer Sheila Cooper said. "I love it. My daughter loves it. We were so excited when it came here."
Some lined up to take advantage of the store's collection of baby clothing.
"I thought I would stock up before the baby comes in two weeks," said Shannon Wanless, who got in line at 7:30 a.m.
Others stuck out the line for the incentives -- giveaways of up to $300 for the first 100 customers in line.
The new store is located between the mall's main entrance and Dillard's Women.
