Happy 100th Birthday, Miami Beach

Miami Beach is officially 100 years old, and the city is celebrating by bringing together the biggest names in entertainment for one epic night of music.

Thursday night on the sands of South Beach, 8th and Ocean Drive, Hard Rock Rising Miami Beach will bring together the talents of Gloria Estefan, Barry Gibb, Andrea Bocelli, Flo Rida, Wyclef Jean and so many more for an all-day oceanfront music festival.

Led by musical director Rudy Perez, the festival kicks off at 3 p.m. and will keep the party going all the way through midnight.

"This is the biggest party we've ever had in our city," Perez told NBC 6 South Florida.

For those unable to join in person, NBC 6 South Florida will livestream the show on the web and on our mobile app.

Miami Beach has been celebrating its centennial in a number of fun and creative ways, including the introduction of commemorative Coca-Cola bottles, a mass wedding featuring 100 newlyweds, and the swearing in of 100 new U.S. citizens at the beach.

Hard Rock Rising Miami Beach is sponsored by Hard Rock International, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, and the Seminole Tribe of Florida.
