Even accused cat killers deserve a little holiday cheer.

A Miami-Dade judge ruled Tuesday that Tyler Weinman can travel with his family to Orlando to spend Thanksgiving despite earlier rulings that the boy wasn't allowed to leave his front yard.

Weinman is accused of going on a freakish cat killing spree this past summer in his Palmetto Bay neighborhood, mutilating at least 19 different cats and leaving their bodies in the yards of their owners. He was arrested June 14. The killings abruptly stopped after Weinman's arrest.

But a judge felt Weinman had suffered enough in his house so now the teen will get to carve up a little turkey in Orlando. We feel sorry for that poor bird.

The 18-year old is charged with 19 counts each of felony animal cruelty and improperly disposing of an animal body, and four counts of burglary.
