Heat Cruise to Fourth Straight Victory

The Heat easily beat the Atlanta Hawks for their fourth straight win on Sunday in Miami

The Miami Heat made it look easy in their 105-87 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday to extend their win streak to four games.

Miami wasted no time by jumping out to a quick lead that resulted in a ten-point advantage following one quarter of play. That lead will only grow bigger going into the half as Miami gave Atlanta no chance to claw its way back.

The win was a team effort for Miami with three players scoring 17 points or more, and five eclipsing double digits. The leading scorer for the Heat was Chris Bosh with his 18 points to go along with seven rebounds. The Heat did all of this without Hassan Whiteside who remained sidelined.

Luol Deng and Dwyane Wade each contributed 17 points to help Miami win. Wade was busy dishing the ball as well with eight assists which easily led the team. Also going into double digits with points in the win were Amar'e Stoudemire (13) and Justise Winslow (10). The latter also was busy on the inside with nine rebounds.

Goran Dragic was limited by foul trouble and only played 23 minutes. Dragic who is still working his way back into playing shape looked rusty. The guard was 4-10 on his attempts for nine points along with four assists.

This game marked Miami's return home following a long stretch of road games. It was a short stay however as the Heat will head right back onto the road. Miami had played 11 of its 12 games on the road before this game, and now will begin a three-game road trip.

Miami will look to make it five wins in a row when it travels to Houston on Tuesday to take on the Rockets.
