Heat Owner Micky Arison Comments on Chris Bosh

Heat owner Micky Arison sent a public message to Chris Bosh on Twitter on Wednesday

The Miami Heat had been quiet on Chris Bosh's status until Wednesday when team owner Micky Arison commented on Twitter.

While the tweet from Arison does not confirm Bosh will be playing when the season starts, it does possibly lead to that. Arison directed his tweet at Bosh and showed his enthusiasm for seeing the big man at training camp.

Bosh is looking to return to the court after a second bout with blood clots. It has been a messy time for Bosh and the Heat as they have reportedly differed on approaches. Bosh wants to play again and Miami has been cautious about that scenario.

Contracts and disputes have spilled out into the public arena. All of this comes after a successful run for Bosh in Miami including two NBA titles. The team is being understandably cautious with a player who has suffered two season-ending blood clot issues. Up to this point, Bosh has not been cleared to play and it is unclear if he has been cleared for training camp as of yet either.

If Bosh is able to return to the court, it could have an immeasurable effect on Miami's postseason hopes. Without Dwyane Wade in the fold, Bosh will be the unquestioned leader of the team and the biggest star on the court for Miami. Should Bosh not be able to suit up, head coach Erik Spoelstra will need to find a suitable starter for his rotation. The Heat have had to play many games without Bosh over the past two seasons and likely prepared for the possibility of that continuing during the off-season.

The tweet from Arison is a promising start for the Heat, but it is more than the team has publicly said in months in regards to Bosh's return.
