A family in Hialeah is shaken up after someone opened fire at a house early Monday.
Police are investigating the drive-by shooting that happened on West 79th Street and 18th Court.
"My family and I were sleeping and somebody came by and shot the house," explained homeowner Carlos Pena.
Pena said 2 bullets ended up inside the house. He believes the shooter fired at the wrong house.
"I got my gun and cocked it. I have a concealed weapons permit so I have to protect my family," said Pena.
Three adults were inside the home at the time of the shooting. No one was hurt.
According to a neighbor, a black sedan fled the area at a high rate of speed.
