Hialeah Woman Wins $200,000 for Life in Florida Lottery

One very lucky Hialeah woman won $200,000 for life in a Florida Lottery scratch-off game.

Yasmida Abreu, 45, chose to take the one-time, lump-sum payment in the amount of $3,221,091.34. Abreu purchased her winning ticket at the Rainbow Coffee Shop, located at 3720 Palm Avenue in Hialeah.

The $20 Lucky $200,000 a Year for Life game launched in 2010, and features more than $450 million in total prizes.

According to a press release, the Florida Lottery contributes more than $28 billion to education and sends more than 700,000 students to college through the Bright Futures Scholarship Program.

The Florida Lottery also reinvests 97 percent of its revenue back into Florida's economy.
