    A South Broward High School teacher was arrested for having a consensual sexual relationship with a 16-year-old student, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.

    Michael James Lunt, 25, turned himself in Tuesday and was charged with one count of unlawful sexual activity with certain minors, according to the BSO.

    Paul Lanier, 40, of Homestead was one of four men arrested after agents executed a search warrant at his TNT Barber Shop on Sunday, authorities said.

    The relationship was reported in December by the student’s mother, who noticed a change in her daughter’s behavior and was concerned that Lunt unfairly used his position as a teacher to coerce her, authorities said.

    Homestead Police said they arrested a cinematography teacher at Keys Gate Charter School who has been having sex with two former female students, both minors, for the last two years. Andre Martinez, 30, faces two counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor and was being held on $15,000 bond Monday night, according to Miami-Dade Corrections records.

    It wasn’t immediately known if he had an attorney.

    The BSO said that anyone with information about other inappropriate behavior by Lunt can report it to BSO Special Victims Unit Detective Ann Suter at 954-321-4240.
