A man tricked a woman into believing she had a flat tire then fondled and kissed her against her will on the side of the road, authorities said.
Amaury Quiros, 30, is facing charges of burglary with assault or battery, false imprisonment and simple battery in the June 25th incident, according to a Broward County arrest affidavit released Tuesday.
Quiros was being held without bond Tuesday, jail records showed. It was unknown whether he has an attorney.
According to the affidavit, the 28-year-old woman was driving in Hollywood when a man driving a pickup truck, later identified as Quiros, pointed at her car and yelled to her that she had a flat tire.
The woman pulled over and got out to inspect her car on N. 46th Avenue and Quiros also pulled over, the affidavit said. Quiros told the woman "just kidding" and said he wanted to see her and wanted her phone number, the affidavit said.
She told Quiros she was married but he continued, grabbing her buttocks and putting his hand down her pants and fondling her, the affidavit said.
The woman was able to get in her car to try to get away, but Quiros leaned into her car, grabbed her face and kissed her. He also pulled down her shirt and kissed her bare breast, the affidavit said.
She was able to get away and reported the incident to police, who arrested Quiros on Monday.
