Hollywood Police continue to ask for the public’s help in finding a man who struck two gas stations earlier this month and allegedly committed armed robberies.

The department released surveillance video earlier this month showing one of the incidents from June 5th and 6th,

The first incident took place Sunday the 5th shortly before 7 PM at the Marathon Gas Station off Johnson Street near N. 30th Road. The suspect is seen using a knife to demand money from the clerk, who handed him a bag containing around $200.

Less than 24 hours later, a man matching the same description held up the Quick Stop Shop off Dixie Highway and Sherman Street. Again, the man used a knife to demand money, threatening an employee and leaving with $200 in cash from a register.

The suspect is described as a white male between 5’8”and 5'10” tall, weighing 200 lbs with white facial hair. In both cases, he wore a white baseball hat.

In the first case, the suspect fled the scene in a grey vehicle, described as either a Toyota or a Lincoln. Anyone with information is still urged to contact Hollywood Police or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
