Hollywood Police Release Video in Pedestrian Hit and Run

Police are looking for two drivers who struck a pedestrian in Hollywood in a crash that was caught on camera.

The incident happened just after 8 p.m. Monday at the intersection of State Road 7/U.S. 441 and Hollywood Boulevard, police said.


The victim was struck by a white older model Ford Expedition or SUV, then struck by a silver Hyundai Elantra. Both of the vehicles fled the scene, police said.

Video of the incident released by police Wednesday shows the moments just before the first impact. It also shows the Ford at a nearby gas station.

The victim, identified as 47-year-old Angel Mikki Larouge, was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital where she remained in critical condition Thursday.


Police said the Ford likely has front and right front damage. The Hyundai may have front and left front wheel well damage.

The driver of the Ford was described as a black male, bald, who was wearing glasses, a red hat and a red shirt. The description of the Hyundai driver was unknown.
