A homeless person was hit by a Metromover car at the Brickell Station Wednesday morning, according to Miami Fire Rescue.

The person jumped in front of the car, according to fire officials.

Service was suspended at the Brickell and Omni Metromover stops, but later restored, according to Miami-Dade Transit.

No further details on the investigation were immediately released.
