Miami-Dade Police are searching for two men in connection with a home invasion that resulted in the homeowner being shot.
The home invasion happened just before 1:30 a.m. Saturday in the 10000 block of Southwest 244th Terrace in southwest Miami-Dade.
Police say the homeowner opened the front door and was confronted by two armed black males wearing dark clothing.
The men entered the home and demanded money and items, according to police. The males stole items then shot the homeowner in the abdomen before fleeing in a black vehicle.
The victim was transported to Kendall Regional Trauma Center and was listed in stable condition after undergoing surgery.
