A horse was found stabbed to death and two horses are missing from a farm early Tuesday in southwest Miami-Dade.
The owner said the horse, named Destiny, was lured from the farm west of Krome Avenue and taken down a dark road, where she was stabbed multiple times.
The horse was able to get away and make it back to the farm, where she died.
The owner, Gina Milhet, said her 13-year-old horse was also taken -- and this is not the first time the animals have gone missing. She says another horse was stolen two years ago.
"I couldn't believe this would happen again," Milhet said.
Miami-Dade police, as well as the Animal Recovery Mission, are investigating.
