How to Donate to Victims of Hurricane Maria

Relief efforts in South Florida for Puerto Rico show no signs of slowing down Saturday, and Mana Wynwood is hosting one of the largest collection sites for donations.

Rather than spending the day at the dog park, 5-year-olds Violeta and Penelope were hard at work building boxes.

"It's been actually very interesting," said Violeta and Penelope's mother Amy Alvarez. "They are so young and they are able to absorb what's happening in their surroundings. They get worried about the dogs, about people, about children."

The relief efforts at the Mana Convention Center is bringing together people of all ages and providing comfort for those who feel helpless.

"There's a lot of people still here who haven't heard from their family members so it's very emotional, we've been hugging all sweaty in solidarity with each other, hoping for the best," said volunteer Manny Diaz.
