Husband Finds Wife Murdered In Home

Woman's body found in Miami-Dade house Sunday

Family members of 50-year-old Roxanna Palomino say they're praying police find her murderer.

"I couldn't sleep all night," said her brother-in-law, Eduardo Palomino. Investigators say Roxanna's husband, Percy Palomino, told them he came home around 1 a.m. Sunday morning and found his wife dead. Police have not confirmed how or where she was killed.

Eduardo Palomino says his brother told him he found his wife's body in their son's bedroom.

"He tried to enter and he couldn't open the door because the body was blocking it," he said. "There was a big cut on her neck." The couple's son, Rodrigo Palomino, had been studying at UCF in Orlando. He came home and spoke to officers at the murder scene.

"It hasn't sunk in yet," he simply said. Police returned to the home Monday after nearly 23 hours examining the home Sunday. They still had made no arrests nor released a description of a suspect.
