“I Am Hurting All Over” Says Disabled Victim of Brutal Attack

Debra Plasse, 61, has stab wounds on her arms, scratches on her legs, her cheek is broken.

"I think emotionally today has been my worst day," she said. Plasse is back home from the hospital after being tortured by two home invaders last week. "It has affected my MS so I am getting my MS pain spasms... but my cheek really hurts. Glass wounds hurt too, so I guess I am hurting all over."

Last Thursday afternoon the two men opened a back gate, slipped in through the back door and demanded cash and jewelry.

They ransacked Plasse's Deerfield Beach house, Smashed her roommate's TV, and used the broken glass to cut her, all over her body. They also stole her medication and killed two of her pet kittens.

A lifelong animal lover and former horse trainer, Plasse has a very difficult time talking about the two kittens the suspects killed.

"I have seen some pretty horrible accidents with animals you know, three-week-old kittens is... what possess a person to do that? Drugs, I don't know," she said.

After the attack Plasse crawled out of her house and was found by neighbor Gary Williams.

Deputies passed out Crime Stoppers fliers Last week, hoping somebody calls with information. Plasse is hoping for the same.

If anybody knows anything, they don't have to identify themselves, all they have to do is call that number.
