‘I Feel Goosebumps': Victim in Miami Beach Armed Robbery

New video of a frightening armed robbery in Miami Beach was released Tuesday as one of the victims is speaking out.

The robbery happened back on May 15 on Bay Drive. The 48-year-old woman, who didn't want to be identified, said she's still terrified.

"Scared, oh my God, I feel goosebumps," she said in Spanish, through an interpreter.

Miami Beach Police say James Ferrer held her and two others at gunpoint, then mugged them.

"They put a gun, to gun point, you know when you go 'click click,' and they took her wallet away, the wallets, everything, and they threw them on the floor," the woman said.

According to police, Ferrer had a silver pistol. He chambered a round, forced it against the woman's neck and ordered her to get down.

"That he was going to kill him, he said 'don't move, don't move' I'm going to kill you," she said.

At the moment, all she could do was pray, she said.

"She was very scared, she asked the Lord to save their lives. That was the most important thing. He took all the documents, money," she said.

Ferrer and another unidentified suspect took off. They were caught on camera when they fled to a nearby motel, police said.

They allegedly got away with hundreds of dollars and some very important documents and even though she prayed for her life, her prayers are now for the man who could have very easily taken it.

"She's asking God to change his life. To forgive, she forgives him for what he's done to her," she said.

Police are still looking for the second suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
