‘Impeach Trump' Billboard Pops Up in Palm Beach Near Mar-a-Lago Resort

A billboard urging Congress to begin the process to impeach President Donald Trump has popped near his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach County.

The words “No one is above the law. Not even the president” are sprawled across the billboard in white, capital letters, next to a black and white portrait of Trump.

The massive ad stands tall on Southern Boulevard, the road leading to his South Florida resort.

The Impeach Donald Trump Now campaign is a growing national movement of more than one million supporters, who funded the billboard with hundreds of small donations.

In a press release, impeachment campaigners are demanding Congress to initiate an immediate investigation for President Trump's impeachment.

“He must be held accountable for his abuse of power and public trust,” said John Bonifaz, president of the grassroots organization, Free Speech For People. “Our democracy is at stake.”

In May, Texas Rep. Al Green became the first member of Congress to call for Trump’s impeachment. And, he did so on the House floor. Californian congressman Brad Sherman has also begun drafting and circulating articles of Trump’s impeachment.

The grassroots campaign most recently expanded its investigation call to include a potential conspiracy between the Trump campaign and the Russian government following the release of emails involving Donald Trump Jr.
