Miami police are seeking a gun-toting thug who showed he's not too God-fearing after he robbed eight members of a Liberty City baptist church last night.

Police say the man burst into the Jordan Grove Missionary Baptist Church at 5942 NW 12 Avenue around 9:30 p.m. armed with a black revolver.

According to police, the robber pointed the gun at the congregation members and yelled, “Everyone get on the ground and take everything out of your pockets and lay it on the floor.”

All the victims complied, and the suspect fled the scene with cash and the pastor's car, a 2005 green Lincoln Town car with a tan vinyl top and a Florida tag reading 073 IUF.

The suspect is described as black, between 17-20 years old, about 5'7" and 150 pounds. He made have had an accomplice who was outside working as a lookout, police said.

The Miami Police Department is urging anyone with information to contact their robbery unit at 305-603-6070 or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
