Politicians, activists and residents are calling on Jackson Health System's Financial Recovery Board to try to stop plans to privatize Jackson's emergency room services and the Roxcy Bolton Rape Treatment Center.

The board is holding a public hearing Thursday to get community feedback on the plan, which would outsource some services to a private company.
