Cans of beer spilled onto I-275 in Jacksonville Thursday afternoon after a sudden stop caused the load to break through the wall of a Budweiser tractor trailer.
Driver Jeffrey Cork, 53, was forced to make a sudden stop after cars ahead of him had stopped due to slow traffic, according to a Florida Highway Patrol incident report.
The beer shifted forward and broke through the front wall of the trailer, spilling onto the road, the report said.
Parts of the road were closed for over an hour as the spill was cleared.
Damage to the truck was estimated at $17,000, according to the report.
