Who needs a name when you are the most adorable animal in the zoo?

Since "most adorable animal in the zoo" can take a little long to say when trying to call a Capuchin monkey for a snack, Jungle Island asked South Florida to name the tourist attraction's new mascot.

Contrary to rumors that Jungle Island will hold a press conference on Animal Planet to announce the decision, the monkey was named Monday in a more subtle fashion.

No, It's not named "LeBron" or "LeWade" or "LeBosh."

It's Gizmo.

A Coral Springs woman felt the 3-month-old primate looked a lot like the creature from 1980s fame that couldn't take baths for fear of creating ugly, alien-like monsters who would tear up the entire city. His name was "Gizmo."

Hopefully, Miami's Gizmo won't have that problem.
