An argument over a love bite turned into a violent murder Easter morning in Miami and has landed a jealous boyfriend in jail on murder charges.
Fermin Recalde allegedly stabbed his girlfriend of two years, 42-year-old Dora Rial, in the chest twice after he discovered a hickey on the woman's cheek Sunday morning.
The couple had a brief argument before Recalde, 40, armed himself with a large kitchen knife, pulled Rial by her hair, and demanded to know why she had a "hickey" on her face, police said.
Recalde stabbed her twice in chest. Rial died on scene. her daughter was home at the time, police said.
Recalde left the house after the crime of passion, but called the Hialeah Police Department and turned himself in.
He is now charged with second degree murder
