Police are searching for a man who burglarized a woman's car while she was at a cemetery in Kendall and charged over $900 on her credit card.
The burglary happened at around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 11655 SW 12th Street, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department.
While the victim was at the cemetery visiting a loved one, the suspect gained entry into her locked car and stole her purse, police said.
Within the hour, the suspect used the victim's credit card at a liquor store in the area of 184 and South Dixie Highway and then at a shoe store blocks away, police said. The charges totaled over $900.
Surveillance cameras captured an image of the suspect. Police are seeking the assistance of the public in identifying and locating him.
