A Kendall woman has died from her injuries after a violent attack outside her home and now police are searching for the murderer.
Authorities believe one person or multiple people attempted to rob 65-year-old Vicki Tucker Feeley around 8 p.m. Saturday in the area of Southwest 128th Court and 112th Terrace.
They say there was a struggle and some sort of confrontation and Tucker Feeley sustained injuries. She was transported to the hospital and passed away. Officials say Tucker Feeley was alone, but they cannot confirm at this time what type of injuries she sustained during the altercation.
"That street is commuted a lot and it's only 8:05 at night so we feel comfortable that there were vehicles that perhaps could have seen something," Miami-Dade Police spokesman Alvaro Zabaleta said. "We understand that whoever saw something perhaps didn't think of it, maybe saw somebody either running, riding a bike, driving recklessly in a car, driving away at a high rate of speed."
NBC 6 spoke to the family but they do not want to do an interview at this time. They did, however, set up a GoFundMe page where they called her an extraordinary human being.
Police need more information on this case and are asking people to call Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
