LeBron James has a new team and a new number.
The Miami Heat's newest acquisition will wear No. 6 next season, taking the jersey number once worn by point guard Mario Chalmers.
Chalmers will be wearing No. 15, which we sure will upset that five family members who have his jersey. Or maybe they will do like everyone else and scratch his name out or duct tape "James" on the back of that No. 6.
Seriously, Chalmers should be commend for not getting inthe way of LeBron's "brand" and probably made a little coin on the side while simultaneously allowing Heat fans to get their hands on a coveted jersey.
Maybe Chalmers could tweet or call Davone Bess on how to handle a jersey conflict.
In case you are keeping score, the Heat's current roster consists of the jersey Nos. 3, 4, 6 and 15. Hopefully more will come.
