Kissimmee Girl, 12, Reported Missing: Deputies

12-year-old Morgan Girdhari, of Kissimmee, was reported missing by her family Thursday.

Deputies in Central Florida are searching for a missing 12-year-old girl who was last seen by her family when she went to bed Thursday, NBC affiliate WESH reports.

Morgan Girdhari was last seen in the Poinciana area, officials with the Polk County Sheriff's Office say.

Surveillance footage obtained from a Walmart store led officials initially to believe that Girdhari was in the company of an adult man who was not known to her friends or family.

Police now say they believe the girl is traveling alone, and is no longer in the company of that man.
