Dozens of doughnut fans waited in line overnight to get their hands on a year's supply of Krispy Kreme before the grand opening of the new store in Hialeah Tuesday.
The store, at the corner of W. 49th Street and W. 16th Street, opened at 6 a.m., with the first 100 people in line winning free doughnuts for a year.
Fans chanted "I believe that we want doughnuts!" while others laid on the ground and took naps.
The first person in line got a box of doughnuts each week, while customers 2 through 99 received a free box every month. A box costs $8.49.
The shop will be open 24 hours and will feature more than a dozen varieties of doughnuts.
