Last Chance Dogs at Broward Animal Care

Five dogs at Broward County Animal Care are considered "last call" and are in need of urgent adoption or rescue. The adoption fee for all of these dogs has been waived!

Marlin is a 3-year-old Shepherd mix who is obedient, lovable and housebroken. He gets along well with most other dogs and seems to have just this one little issue of being heartworm positive. His medical treatment has been donated! Now Marlin just needs a wonderful adopter to take him in!

Little cutie Bits is a one-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier. She is extremely sweet and has been great with other dogs. Bits is petite for her breed at just 29 pounds. She loves to play and will be a fine addition to a loving home. This lovely princess really needs that special someone now.

Brooklyn is a 1.5-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier who is oh so eager for attention! He lived with other dogs before coming to Animal Care but was mostly tethered and not given much time to interact. Now he is so eager to get love, he seems more interested in being around people than anything else. A generally mellow guy, this young pup will make a very loyal friend. He just needs another chance to get the bright future he deserves!

Felicity is a very good girl who knows commands, housebroken, and is smart as a whip. She seems to be the full package so we can’t understand why she hasn’t been adopted yet. We are really hoping this is the week Felicity finds her forever home!

Mary-Anne is a 1.5-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier. This 57-pound girl has a beautiful face and a calm disposition. This “girl next door” was left at Animal Care without explanation or information but she has definitely proven herself a pleasure at to be with. She is lovely and very much needs a forever home where she prefers to be the only pet.
