Before he and the Miami Heat dispatched with the Orlando Magic Wednesday night, LeBron James discussed his role in David Beckham's plan to bring the MLS to Miami. He specifically mentioned finding a place for an expansion team to play.

"We're working on it," James said.

Beckham scouted some Miami locations last week, including Marlins Park. As part of the contract he signed with MLS and the Los Angeles Galaxy in 2007, Beckham has the right to pay $25 million to start an expansion franchise.

He is now recruiting investors to help fund startup costs like stadium construction and player acquisitions.

"I wish it was easy," James said. "We're working on it. We'll see what happens."

James in the Heat were in Orlando to play the magic days after the the awardedared Orlando an expansion franchise that will begin play in 2015. Already holding a small ownership in English club Liverpool, he spoke about what he likes about soccer.

"I think the passion is the No. 1 thing," James said. "The passion that the fans have about the game of soccer, it's pretty intense. It's pretty awesome. I had an opportunity to go to a game in England and it was an unbelievable experience. It's a world-renown sport."

James even went so far to acknowledge that he would rather see his sons play futbol than football, which is notable for a guy who has said he would love to play in an NFL game.
