One person was taken to the hospital after part of an old restaurant in Little Havana collapsed Tuesday.
The collapse happened at the former La Esquina de Tejas, located at 1150 Southwest 1st Avenue.
What appears to be a wooden awning collapsed onto the sidewalk.
Southwest 12th Avenue between 1st and 2nd streets were shut down for the investigation, city of Miami police said.
