Palm Beach County Chick-Fil-A Temporarily Closed After Over 20 Roaches Found Inside

A Chick-Fil-A in one South Florida city was temporarily closed after more than 20 roaches were found.

The location off Lantana Road in Greenacres has temporarily closed their location after Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation officials found multiple violations during a July 20th inspection.

According to the Palm Beach Post, the restaurant had severe roach activity after 20 to 25 live roaches were found on the front counter by where food is held for customers. The inspector also noted that there were approximately four dead roaches behind the dressings.

A spokesperson for the restaurant chain told the paper that work began immediately after the findings to resolve the problem.

"A follow-up inspection was performed by the health department on the morning of Friday, July 21st and indicated all issues were resolved," said spokeswoman Amanda Hannah.

The facility was also under violation for their temperature regulations, built-up grease on underneath fryers, and accumulation of food residue in an interior cooler
